As local surfers of Varkala, we’ve been riding the waves for over a decade and sharing our love for the ocean through teaching for the past five years. Our mission is to inspire and nurture the next generation of surfers, fostering a vibrant local surfing community. Join us at Saltybaba SurfShack and become part of our surf family!
Beginner
For the novice learner who has an intrigue in surfing however has yet to find the right encouragement to take their first wave. We welcome you!
Intermediate
For the competent surfer who has caught a few waves, looking to possibly attempt more challenges, to better their form and ocean IQ.

For the experienced surfer, itching to get out into the vista and explore new techniques and a fresh new perspective to the surf and some professional feedback. we are ready to connect with you!

Last but not least our amazing tuk tuk driver. His assistance saves us all from having to carry surfboards for 4 km on our head :D. He is available anytime even for transport to and fro the homestay.
